When The Grocer visited us during the final development stages of our Dojo, it was a game-changer for us. We knew we were ready to launch it. It also made us realize that hard work pays off. After all, it's been four years in the making, and we have worked tirelessly to create a space that can test the present and future of retail.

If you were to ask us what the biggest commodity is, we would say time, in a heartbeat. You have approximately 525,600 minutes to spend each year, and we do everything we can to ensure that you don't waste a single second waiting in queues. We make sure that everyone, even your grandmother, can shop and have a frictionless shopping experience.

With features such, in-store bakeries, meat counters, and coffee stations, all without the need for queuing. It has made us realize the long way we've come since the launch of Continente labs almost two years ago. Since then, we have opened autonomous stores in Portugal, Spain, France, and Brazil, as part of our expansion.

As our CEO Vasco Portugal has stated: "Our goal is that the next generation looks at queues as an anomaly of the past."
